HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY
The two hilarious, slacker anti-heroes Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) triumphantly return in this 2008 sequel to "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle."
This time, the two stoners-who-can't-catch a-break get themselves in trouble trying to sneak a bong onboard a flight to Amsterdam. Suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. While doing so, they find Kumar's ex-girlfriend's fiancé, the well-connected Colton Graham (Eric Winter), and get him to intercede with Washington on their behalf. Of course nothing goes according to plan.
"Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay" was produced by Nathan Kahane and Greg Shapiro for New Line Cinema. Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who wrote "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle," wrote and directed this 2008 sequel.
