BROTHERS AND SISTERS
The LA-based Walker family is an ordinary dysfunctional American family. The adult siblings -- Sarah Whedon, Tommy Walker, Kevin Walker, Justin Walker, and Kitty Walker -- try to live up to their parents' expectations while struggling through their everyday lives.
After the death of the family's patriarch, William Walker (recurring guest star Tom Skerritt), each of the Walker family children, along with the family matriarch, Nora Walker (Sally Field), must come together to navigate the bumpy road that lies ahead. Deep secrets are revealed when Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) and Tommy (Balthazar Getty) take the reigns of their father's company, and life becomes more complex when the Walkers learn William had a mistress, Holly Harper (Patricia Wettig). She has her own child, Rebecca (Emily VanCamp), once believed to have been fathered by William. But William did indeed father an illegitimate child, who wants nothing to do with the Walker clan.
Kitty Walker (Calista Flockhart) is the lone Republican in this liberal family, which only adds to the tension. Eric Winter plays the recurring role of Jason McCallister, the homosexual brother of Kitty's husband, conservative Senator Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe).
"Brothers and Sisters" premiered on September 24, 2006 and is executive produced by Ken Olin and Jon Robin Baitz. It airs Sunday nights at 10pm EST/PST on ABC.
