THE MENTALIST Senses Eric Winter

Grace Van Pelt will have some help recovering from her break-up with Rigsby on The Mentalist. Entertainment Weekly reports that Eric Winter will recur as Craig O’Loughlin, an FBI agent/former football player who is a potential love interest for Van Pelt after their initial flirtation sends sparks flying.
This is the second recurring role announced for the new season, following the news that Kevin Rankin will play Jane’s brother-in-law. Malcolm McDowell will also return this fall, reprising his role as church leader Britt Stiles, last seen in the “Red All Over” episode.
The Mentalist’s third season will premiere on CBS Thursday September 23 at 10pm/9 central.

Heigl Gets Very Good Look at Ugly Costar's Manhood
Katherine Heigl worked hard to make sure it was a quickie.
She did her best to limit the number of takes it took to shoot her vibrating-panties orgasm scene in The Ugly Truth.
"We all had to stay very focused on the scene because she didn't want to do that 15 times," says Eric Winter, who plays her next-door-neighbor love interest in the romantic comedy. "She had to keep it fresh every time. So we focused as a group and she hit a home run."
That's not to say Winter didn't get a kick out of Heigl's moaning and groaning. "It was hysterical," he says. "It was hard to keep a straight face because I knew what she was going through. It was a lot of eyeballs watching her...She was extremely tired at the end of that day."
Mr. Winter had a revealing scene of his own, too...Source: E! online

Los Angeles Times: My Favorite Weekend
What's "The Ugly Truth" about the Battle of the Sexes? Actor Eric Winter, who costars with Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler in the rom-com premiering citywide tonight, offers a tidbit or two.
"I play Colin, the neighbor of a woman (Heigl as Abby) who is so Type A that she has compiled a checklist of what she thinks the ideal guy should be," says Winter, 33. "And as it turns out, she thinks that guy is me. And Gerard Butler plays a colleague of Abby's who's going to coach her on what to do to make me want her. It's a lot of fun."
Personally, Winter has gone AWOL from the Battle of the Sexes, marrying longtime actress girlfriend Roselyn Sanchez (Elena Delgado on "Without a Trace") last November in Puerto Rico. The honeymooners now live in equally exotic Studio City, where all their favorite weekends begin.Source: Los Angeles Times

El Hombre Perfecto
The actor talks about his role in the movie "The Ugly Truth" and of his life next to Roselyn Sánchez
[Loosely translated from Puerto Rican. Click here to read the orignal article.]
In the movie "The Ugly Truth," Eric Winter embodies the stereotype of the perfect man. "Colin" is a doctor, mature, precise, nice and good-looking - all the requirements to be become the future husband of the protagonist, the exacting publisher of television "Abby" (Katherine Heigl).
In real life, Eric is the ideal man for the Puerto Rican actress Roselyn Sánchez, with whom he married in November of 2008 and he longs to become a father. The actor spoke exclusively with "The New Day" of both experiences and he responded as if he is as perfect as they paint it, in and out of the large screen.Source: ElNuevoDia

Roselyn's World
An excerpt from CBS Watch magazine
Eric Winter's wife Roselyn Sanchez is the cover girl on the latest issue of CBS Watch magazine. In the article, the "Without a Trace" star jokes that her tough side comes from “growing up in Puerto Rico with three brothers.”
Now the actress is prepared to impart some lessons on being badass to her husband and fellow actor Eric Winter whom she wed last fall. Thirty-three-year-old Winter, who most recently appeared on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters and in last year’s CBS series "Moonlight" and "Viva Laughlin," is also a star on the rise.Source: CBS Watch!
