Wanted to say hi to everyone and thank you all for your posts..Hope everyone is well! I have not been able to respond as much as I would like, but I check in all of the time and read what everyone writes.. Thank you for all of the support for my latest movie The Ugly Truth. Glad you all enjoyed it. It really did well for Sony and everyone is very happy. I have some exciting news to report. While deciding on what my next acting role will be, I have been actively working on producing projects. I have a TV show that I partnered with Mark Gordon's Company on (Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice) and we just sold it to ABC studios.. So that was a very exciting step forward with my first project as a producer. I also have recently partnered with The Weitz Brothers (American Pie, About a Boy) and Mark Gordon again to produce my first film! Though I'm excited to get going with my next role, this has been an aspiration of mine for a while and I'm stoked to be pushing forward as a producer. I will update with more news as I move forward. Again, thank you everyone for your posts and sorry I didn't have a chance to answer any specific questions. I will do my best to do that soon.

hi eric! i m not sure that my first msg was posted..so...i ll try one more time. i m from romania, europe, and i m proud of it cause i don t know if u have any other users from this country:) "the ugly truth" has just appeared in romania, 1 week ago, and every teenager has already saw it. it s really great. funny, with intelligent replies, bit romantic, so well structured.i love it.and u played so well, colin:) my cousin is from romania too, she got married with a director and they produce movies on hollwood.my dad works as a director too in the national television.and because everyone is involved in media domain, the same i do. i m studying political science but i m working on a newspaper and in television, for a show too. sorry for my very long msg. it was a pleasure to write to u! have a good day! greetings from europe -

I just watched "The Ugly Truth" and I instantly became a fan. You were excellent in it! You're blessed with good looks and a talent for acting hahaha :D It's great that you also have a good heart to help kids with cleft lips. Back from my New York holidays where I saw The Ugly Truth in theater...absolutely LOVE the movie! My friend and I were laughing during all the film, and all the audience was...You are amazing in it!!! Colin is so funny, and cute. I wish Abby stayed with him lol. Anyway, Congrats Eric :) can't wait to see a new project for you! -

Not just another pretty face, are you? Who would have thought it? When you pulled the edges of your shirt together in the hotel room scene in The Ugly Truth, you lifted your character from being “merely perfect” to human and yourself from the rank and file to artist with a seemingly simple gesture that was touching and vulnerable. With respect to your talented and competent co-stars, the day after seeing the movie I couldn’t recall their characters’ names, but I had no such problem with Colin. You brought him to life. If I were in the business and was considering making a film about John Kennedy Jr., you would be my first choice for the lead. You exhibit the easy grace and unself-conscious manner that made JFK Jr. appealing, as well as a striking physical resemblance. You are a fine performer, and I would like to see you do well. As long as you believe in what you do, others will believe it, too. Best wishes for the future.
